There’s usually a capsule hotel located close to a train station, primarily for businessmen who miss the last train home and don’t want pay the high fare for a long taxi ride home.

According to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the U.S. hotel industry will achieve a new record number of occupied rooms per night of 3.277 million this summer. Since 2000, U.S. hotel supply has increased by 7.7 percent with occupancy levels for the July 4th five-day weekend will be 72.8 percent.
