Following from my post earlier last month on travel podcasts, American Express have just announced that almost one in four of their visitors to their dedicated Winter Olympics microsite downloaded a tailor made podcast featuring a guide to Turin.

The hour long tour to the city included recommended restaurants, shops and experiences throughout the city, along with places where Amex customers could take advantage of special offers with their Amercian Express card. As a result, American Express are planned to launch similar travel podcasts in the coming year.
