They are definitely onto something here, whether people will book through it is another matter, but I love the audacity of Supertour, which takes booking a hotel to a new level. Still in Beta, users can scan through hotels in Miami and Las Vegas for the moment, more US destinations due to be added later this year.

I won’t give a full run down of the site’s functionality as it is better to play with it online, but in short, you can browse hotels by area, via a map or list and then make a 3D virtual tour of the building via interactive 360 degree photos, as with all great hotel booking sites, you can also read reviews and compare rates online. The downside, you need a really quick net connection to make it work.
