21/01/2006 - After a nice day relaxing at the Prismamata hostel in Salta, we finally get our car at 18.00. First stop after 3 hours of Drive, Purmamarca. This is the first typical village we visit. We are now in the heart of the Quetchua Argentina. Purmamarca is a nice little village, although a bit too touristy to my taste. It’s worth the visit just for 1 thing : Seven Colors Hill. It’s just beautiful. Arriving late without booking in advance is not an option. There is not enough lodging capacity to welcome all tourists. We hit the road again for a village nearby.
