14/01/2006 - We left early this morning to get to El Bolson at noon. Around 200 kilometers between Esquel and our destination. El Bolson is a charming little town, not for its architecture but for the general athmosphere. It’s the Rendez Vous of all hippies and people who want to chill out a bit. We booked the Altos del Sur hostel, around 3 kilometers out of the city. What a great surprise. It´s simply a little gem. Mariela, the owner is very very nice (and pretty too). She makes you feel at home. We spend the afternoon relaxing in the sun just outside the hostel, drinking wine and enjoying the peacefulness of the area. In the afternoon, we head down to the center of El Bolson to go to the local handicraft’s market. We spend the rest of the evening listening to some good old tunes while it’s raining outside.
