Mimi looks to buy Hotel in UK
Mariah Carey, the world’s biggest selling female pop artist, is looking to buy a hotel in the UK. Renowned for her luxurious lifestyle, Mimi is after a little more homely luxury when she visits the UK than the Dorchester is able to provide. To quote Mariah:
“I want to buy a hotel, somewhere small and intimate. I could live there while I’m here and when I go back to the States other people could stay. There’s a place in Chelsea with only 10 rooms that sounds fabulous. I could have a Mimi Suite which would be really girly.”
With news that George Clooney is looking to invest heavily in a hotel casino development in Las Vegas, maybe celebrity hotels is the next stage in the celebrity branding cycle. J-Lo has her own range of perfume. Mimi has her own hotel chain!
